about

At 6:00 pm on June 9, 1979, the AMHS Lab Band and Singers began a nine hour recording session. With the exception of two tracks, "To Be In Love" and "Latin Landing", all of the arrangements were written by students from Curt Bradshaw's 1978 and 79 arranging class.

As demonstrated by this recording, the students works are their own arrangements, making this jazz ensemble a "Laboratory Band" in the true sense of the word.
